FileFlip is almost ready

It’s in final testing. The download will appear on this page on release day.

Install

Four steps. You only need to do this once.

On macOS 14 Sonoma you can skip steps 2 and 3: Control-click FileFlip in Applications, choose Open, then click Open again.

System requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later
  • A Mac with Apple silicon or an Intel processor
  • No internet connection needed to convert files

Allow access to Finder

To see which files you’ve selected, FileFlip needs permission to talk to Finder. When you first open it, click Allow Access and confirm when macOS asks.

FileFlip only reads the selection. It never opens, moves or uploads your files on its own.

If you clicked Don’t Allow, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation, find FileFlip and switch on Finder.

Updates

New versions are published on this page. What changed in each one is in the changelog.

Uninstall

Quit FileFlip from its menu bar icon, then move FileFlip from Applications to the Trash.
