Privacy

The short version: your files stay on your Mac, and this website doesn’t track you.

The app

  • FileFlip converts files on your Mac. Your files are never uploaded, and converting works without an internet connection.
  • FileFlip asks for permission to talk to Finder so it can see which files you selected. It only reads the selection and never opens, moves or deletes anything on its own.
  • Converted files are saved where you choose in Settings: next to the original by default.

Updates

FileFlip doesn’t connect to the internet at all: no update check, no analytics, no crash reports. New versions are published on this site.

This website

  • No analytics and no tracking.
  • No cookies.
  • No third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Everything on these pages, including the videos, is served from this site.
  • Like any web server, the server that hosts this site may keep standard request logs, such as IP address, browser and the page requested.
