PSD and AVIF

Most people and websites can’t open a Photoshop file, so it has to be flattened into a regular image to share. AVIF makes some of the smallest image files available, which is ideal for websites.

What changes when you convert

  • AVIF can store the image either lossy or lossless.
  • The layers are flattened into a single image.
