PSD and JPEG 2000

Most people and websites can’t open a Photoshop file, so it has to be flattened into a regular image to share. Some archives and professional imaging systems ask for JPEG 2000.

What changes when you convert

  • JPEG 2000 can store the image either lossy or lossless.
  • The layers are flattened into a single image.
